LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups provide a casual and relaxed atmosphere to “do life together.” Relationships that are real require an investment of time. Meeting monthly in homes or other locations provide a small group setting to share friendships for life. Fellowships may be as simple as having dessert and coffee together, a potluck dinner or growing spiritually through prayer and Bible study. It is an opportunity to share life’s triumphs and tragedies with friends who care. Life Groups meet at various times and locations across the area.

If you are interested in joining one of our Life Groups, please contact the leader listed for specific dates and locations.

BEAUMONT LIFE GROUPS

Fun Bunch 50+

Group leaders are Billy and Donna Doornbos and Joe and Linda Finley.  This group meets on Sunday Evenings, usually the 3rd or 4th Sundays of the month, around 6 p.m.  Anyone interested can check the bulletin for details of that month’s meeting.  The meeting is usually held in the Fireside Room but on occasion has used the Music Wing.  This group is mainly for fellowship for those 50 and over; though a time of prayer for the church and specific personal needs is included.  Most events are A Night at the Movies (on Campus), but we also do game nights, meals, group singing, and have put together 2 trips.  All events include light finger foods.  BDDoornbos@aol.com

Bible Study Fellowship

Group leaders are Leon McNeel and/or Boyd Lanier.  This group does not currently have a name that they go by.  Meeting place and time varies from month to month.  This group meets once a month for dinner and a time of prayer.  Leon can be reached at 409-834-2221 or at lbmcneel@aol.com and Boyd can be reached at 409-842-3897 or at lanierwh@quixnet.net.

Isaiah 61 Life Outreach

Isaiah 61 Life Outreach meets every Friday in the Fireside Room at 9am until... We gather to make lunches for the homeless, pray (intercession), exhort one another, and go out into our community sharing the love of JESUS. It is our heart's desire to see souls saved and deaf ears and blind eyes opened, and the captives freed and flowing in their giftings. We participate in regular "seed sowing" trips (where we go fish for souls), "Treasure Hunts" (looking for HIS treasures), and regular visits to specific target areas (the Castle Motel, Cottonwood, and Plymouth Village... the list is continually growing). We also have recently begun to offer a bi-weekly BIBLE study to these areas. Everyone is welcome and can experience the feeling of belonging immediately because your gifting is needed! dedeandtonybeam@yahoo.com
