Vision: It is our desire to lead both believers
and non-believers into the presence of God through praise and
worship so that every person will experience God and have a
life-change! It is our desire at Cathedral to encourage
believers to make worship a life-style, not just on Sundays, but
every day so they may live a victorious, abundant life by using
the power of praise and worship.
Cathedral Worship: The Cathedral Worship Team is ultimately
made up of worship leaders, Pastors Brent & Terri, worship band,
worship team vocals, choir and orchestra. Together, this
team of worshippers leads the congregation into the very
throne-room of God - for it is in His Presence that lives are
changed!
Cathedral Band: The worship band consists of musicians who
dedicate and devote their lives and talents to leading worship
on their individual instruments. They are faithfully
committed to rehearsals and services.
Cathedral Vocal Team: The worship team consists of singers who
have been gifted not only in individual leadership ability, but
also vocal talent. This gifting allows them to operate in
a worship leader role. Every worship team vocalist must
first be a member of the Cathedral Choir and serve in that
capacity before becoming a worship team vocalist.
Cathedral Choir: The Cathedral choir exists to aid and
enhance the worship leaders in ushering in the presence of God.
It is our desire to lead worship as a team and simply…WORSHIP
GOD!
The adult sanctuary choir is open to all
men and women, ages 16 and up, who feel God has gifted them in
the area of music. This is a great place of ministry for
those who are musically gifted to serve as a lead worshipper.
The choir rehearses every Wednesday
evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Music Wing.
Choir Auditions: If you are interested in learning more about the choir,
or becoming a choir member, we invite you to join us any
Wednesday evening for our weekly rehearsal. It is at this
time you can get a sense of what we do and who we are, as well
as determine if this place of ministry would be a fit for you.
After you have joined us for a few rehearsals, Pastors Brent &
Terri will contact you to complete the audition process.
Cathedral Orchestra:
The Cathedral Orchestra exists to aid and enhance the worship
leaders in the corporate worship service while using their
talents and abilities to worship God on their instruments
Orchestra is under the direction of Pastor Brent Sparks and
Jimmy Gaspard.

Orchestra

As with any event rehearsal, times and
dates are subject to change and are at the discretion of Worship
Pastors, Brent & Terri.
Cathedral Technical Department:
Our Technical Department consists of Sound, Lighting and Video.
Technicians serving in these areas are at every service, and
many rehearsals. They are dedicated and faithful to their
calling in this ministry.
Sound:
Our Sound Department is a necessary and vital element to every
service. Without qualified sound technicians, we feel it
would be very difficult to achieve the excellence of ministry
and service that God deserves. Those serving in this area
of ministry attend every rehearsal and every regularly scheduled
service as well as special services and events. Cathedral Sound
is under the direction of Pastor Brent Sparks and Darren
Carruth.
Lighting:
The use of lighting at Cathedral exists to enhance the physical
surroundings of our church facilities and is used to assist in
the transitioning throughout our services. Cathedral Lighting is
under the direction of Pastor Brent Sparks and Steven Morgan.
Video:
Our Video Department is also a necessary and vital element to
every service. This ministry provides a visual aid
throughout every part of our services, including but not limited
to, worship, prayer, announcements and the sermon.
